Sioux City Receives Healthy Community Award
Sioux City was presented with a 2018 Healthy Hometown Community Award during the Iowa Healthiest State Initiative awards ceremony held on Feb. 15, 2018. The award recognizes Sioux City for its accomplishments in health improvement initiatives within the community.

Race, Privilege and Our Community Event
The Sioux City Human Rights Commission and the Sioux City chapter of the NAACP will host a public forum entitled “Race, Privilege and Our Community” on Tuesday, February 27th from 6-9 p.m. at the Sioux City Public Museum, 607 4th Street.

Pierce Street Closure
Bridge demolition work on Interstate 29 bridge over Pierce St. in Sioux City will require closing Pierce St. beginning 7 a.m. Monday, February 19, until 5 p.m. Friday, February 23, weather permitting.

3rd Street and Perry Street Emergency Intersection Closure
